I have always enjoyed decorating cakes for my family. And lately, for a lot of friends as well! All of my cakes are made from scratch - no boxes here! My family is my "test lab" and they enjoy tasting all of my cakes, but especially the chocolate ones! I am a full-time teacher and make cakes as a hobby. I have made this website as a way to share some of the fun cakes I have had the opportunity to make for friends and family.

Legal Concerns
"Character" Cakes: If you are requesting a cake with a popular character, there are some legal copywriting concerns. I cannot create a copywritted image to sell. But I can create a cake with a suitable background for a character. Then you can purchase a character or image to add to the cake, from a licenced dealer.

For example, the cake in the above picture. I created a white walled tire cake, added the trafic cones, and a trophy. The buyer purchased the characters to add to the cake. This is legal.

Texas department of health and safety: Though I am not inspected by the state health department, it is completely legal in Texas to sell cakes out of a private home.
